Abstract Artimus Proclaims Doomsday In The U.S.A.
The entire world is in a state of disbelief as the United States plunge into a depraved chasm of skewed accountability while simultaneously losing many of our philanthropic living minds, artistic and otherwise. These are the sentiments Abstract Artimus conveys with his new half protest song, half nihilistic rant "Doomsday in the U.S.A.". Abrasive and groove oriented, "Doomsday in the U.S.A." manifests itself as American citizens submit to the corporate figureheads undermining an already corrupt democracy as well as the hate filled monster we are obliged to slay.
lyrics
This place is burnin' down, theres a monster we must slay
and genius hearts and minds are dying everyday
the past is creepin' back, see the writin' on the wall
but we are the human race, gotta walk instead of crawl
uh oh, uh-uh-uh oh
Doomsday in the U.S.A.
uh oh, uh-uh-uh oh
Doomsday in the U.S.A.
Our flag is turning green and rhetoric seems to win
got a monster to the right, on the left is a corporate grin
Dr. King is rollin over and Lincoln's doin' the same
take a look right in the mirror and you might see who's to blame
uh oh, uh-uh-uh oh
Doomsday in the U.S.A.
uh oh, uh-uh-uh oh
Doomsday in the U.S.A.
Doomsday in the U.S.A.
We are all disenfranchised
many more than others
but we are all in this together
my human sisters,my human brothers(stop this doomsday)
uh oh, uh-uh-uh oh
Doomsday in the U.S.A.
uh oh, uh-uh-uh oh
Doomsday in the U.S.A.
uh oh, uh-uh-uh oh
Doomsday in the U.S.A.
uh oh, uh-uh-uh oh
Doomsday in the U.S.A.
Doomsday in the U.S.A.
